Three Edmonton Grade 12 students are in the running for prestigious scholarships from the Loran Scholars Foundation that would completely fund their undergraduate educations.

The finalists are Ayush Chadha of Lillian Osborne High School, Joshua Lau of M.E. Lazerte School, and Stephanie Li of Old Scona Academic High School. They will travel to Toronto on Feb. 5 and 6 for a national selection event with 77 other finalists.

Loran Awards, which are valued at up to $100,000 and awarded to students who display character, service and leadership potential, include stipends, tuition waivers, mentorship opportunities, and funds for summer internships.
