BMO Financial Group

BMO Financial Group

In 1992, BMO Financial Group became the second annual sustaining donor to the Loran Scholars Foundation. This significant investment enabled us to expand beyond Ontario. In the words of our founder Bob Cluett, “BMO is one of three partners that have been pre-eminent in terms of the foundation’s success.” Since then, the company has underwritten BMO Loran Awards for 24 outstanding young Canadians.

We are grateful for BMO’s support for the last 25+ years, in particular for the personal support of Nada Ristich, Director of Corporate Donations (pictured here with 2006 BMO Loran Scholar Kyla Brophy). Ms. Ristich has interviewed at the regional level in Toronto and chaired national interview committees. Since 2002, she has also hosted our national selections at BMO’s Institute for Learning. Thank you, Ms. Ristich, and thank you BMO Financial Group!
