A Surrey student has risen above 45 high-achieving Canadian students to be chosen for a scholarship worth up to $100,000.
Last month, Anthony Hope, a student at Johnston Heights Secondary, was named among 75 Loran Scholar finalists (chosen from 3,800 applicants).
On Sunday, he found out he was one of the top 30 selected for the award.
