Sarah is working toward an undergraduate Doctor of Medicine degree and a master’s degree in clinical epidemiology at Université Laval. As part of her master’s degree, she is leading a research project to improve the experience of breast cancer patients undergoing treatment. She strives to promote female leadership in medicine, having cofounded Université Laval’s Association of Women Surgeons together with other students. This initiative seeks to advance the role of women in surgery and help female medical students achieve their full potential. In her spare time, Sarah likes to get outside and hike.
