Sally was a competitive swimmer for many years. A nationally certified lifeguard, she was also involved in the development of young, pre-competitive swimmers as a swim coach and instructor. Sally works as a respite-care provider, and in recent years, has worked as a camp counsellor at a summer camp for people with disabilities. Sally also tutors at school, and mentors students through the Best Buddies program.
