Corey is a multilingual education specialist with nearly 10 years experience coordinating a wide range of programs and workshops to support youth empowerment, inclusion, diversity, and leadership development. He holds an Honours Diploma in Police Foundations from TriOS College and a Professional Certificate in Communications and Public Relations from Western University. Corey enjoys travelling and is a certified Canadian coach passionate about soccer. Most importantly, he loves creating core memories with his family and friends.

Always searching for innovative ways to build community, Roxy brings over 10 years of stewardship, event, and marketing & communications experience to Loran. She is a Conestoga College Digital Media program graduate, holds a certificate in Communications and Public Relations from Western, and continually looks for opportunities for professional and personal growth. Outside of work, she loves theatre, food, and the outdoors.

As a graduate of Laurentian University’s Sociology and Social Work program, Jessica is dedicated to community development and working with youth. For the past 12 years she worked for a community health agency, most recently as a program manager, where she supported youth – through the development of mentorship programs and workshops – as they transitioned to post-secondary education. Originally from Sudbury, Ontario, Jessica relocated to Toronto after university where she currently resides with her family and two cats.

A graduate of York University’s Communication Studies program, Danielle brings a number of marketing skills that she has used to advance educational initiatives in both the for-profit and non-profit sectors. Valuing society’s newfound connectedness in the digital age, Danielle’s passion for communications and community engagement extends to her personal life, with the creation of the grassroots book-sharing initiative, Books on the Transit.

Rachel graduated from McGill University with a B.A. in International Development Studies. Prior to joining Loran, she spent nearly two years working as a Communications & Fundraising Officer at the Quebec Board of Black Educators, a non-profit organization that promotes and advocates for Black students’ academic success. When she’s not working, Rachel enjoys travelling, spending time in nature, and trying out new restaurants.

Loretta Chang is a settler of colour and second-generation Canadian based in Toronto. With 15+ years’ experience in the arts, social services and higher education, Loretta is dedicated to engaging youth as they explore career options and ways to effect positive change. She holds a degree in Film Studies from Queen’s University and a diploma in Career & Work Counselling from George Brown College, keeps a stack of cookbooks on her nightstand and lends her voice to audio projects.

Heather is a social worker (MSW) with extensive experience in project, program, and organizational management. She has worked predominantly in the areas of sexual and reproductive health, and child and youth mental health. Prior to joining the Loran team, Heather was the Executive Director for a community organization in Peterborough, Ontario that offered youth justice programs and child and youth mental health programs.

Carolyn brings to Loran more than 10 years of experience in the educational and non-profit sectors, both in Canada and in the United States. She is passionate about issues of community development, civic engagement, food security, environmental education, and youth leadership development. She holds an HBA in history from McGill University.

With a passion for collective impact and systems change, Lily brings to Loran 20 years’ experience in communications and operations in the non-profit sector. Lily previously held leadership positions at the Toronto Region Immigrant Employment Council and the Income Security Advocacy Centre. She holds an Honours Bachelor of Commerce from McMaster University and a post-graduate certificate in public relations from Humber College.

Meghan possesses over a decade of strategic management experience in the public, private, and not-for-profit sectors. Her undergraduate studies focused on music cognition and she received a bachelor of science and a bachelor of music education from the University of Toronto. She later went on to earn an MBA from the Schulich School of Business at York University. Most recently she was the VP of Business Development at the Royal Conservatory of Music.
