Shravya helped co-found and open a Saskatoon branch of the ARTex coding society, where she works with the YMCA to offer free coding programs to youth. She started an immigrant cycling initiative in her city and helped host an online youth-mentor conference. In the summer, she runs art camps from her studio. Shravya is involved in her school’s student council, basketball team, and badminton team, and she is pursuing an IB diploma.

Joti co-coaches the debate clubs at both his high school and former elementary school. He volunteers as a youth prayer chanter at his local Hindu temple and plays in his high-school band. He has served on the student representative council and is a vocal proponent on the societal dangers of cancel culture. Joti is best known for engineering an innovative communication aid for the Deafblind community. In his free time, he plays badminton and basketball.

Liam founded and directs a student-produced podcast at his school that promotes connection and student wellness. He is the co-president of his school’s Student Representative Council, a member of the Library and Archives Canada Youth Advisory Council, and a former member of the national and provincial RCMP Youth Advisory Committees. He is involved in his school’s theatre program, chess club, and badminton team. Liam also volunteers with youth at the local children’s museum.

Mahrukh is her school’s Student Representative Council co-president, and was part of its charity’s crew. She is a competitive athlete in four sports, namely basketball. She was in charge of hosting BRIT, the largest Western Canada basketball tournament. She coaches debate, and is a debater, competing at the national level. Mahrukh also plays in her school’s senior band. She has volunteered with the local YMCA, and helped start her school’s Muslim Student Association.

While studying neuroscience in the integrated science program at the University of British Columbia, Kaitlyn has been involved in the Science Undergraduate Society advocating for comprehensive reforms that prioritize accessible mental health services for students within her faculty. She is the volunteer lead for her campus food bank and organizes activities promoting food security for students and staff. Kaitlyn is currently working as an undergraduate researcher at the Centre for Brain Health, exploring the contributions of epigenetic mechanisms to various neurodegenerative disorders, specifically Alzheimer’s Disease.

Banin is pursuing a BA in international studies at the University of Saskatchewan. She is the co-chair of the newly established chapter of Canadian Women for Women in Afghanistan in Saskatoon. She is also the co-chair of cultural and community engagement with the 30 Birds Foundation. As part of her advocacy work, she has contributed to several Afghan news outlets to raise awareness for Afghan women and girls’ rights to education. She is a volunteer Wushu coach in her community and currently works part-time to help support her family.
