Allanah is an active community volunteer in rural Newfoundland and Labrador, involved at the hospital, seniors’ home, community events, student council, and church service. She has also completed a science internship through a women-in-STEM employment program, working with a university fertility research group to create clear knowledge-translation materials on fertility and reproductive health.
