Cianne is enrolled in a bachelor of science in molecular biology and genetics at McMaster University. She spent her first Loran summer in Tanzania, conducting policy reviews for various projects including an international study that looked at gender-based workplace violence at the primary health care level in Tanzania, South Africa, and Burkina Faso. At university, Cianne volunteers in a cardiotoxicity-based biochemistry laboratory and holds fundraising roles with the McMaster Students Supporting SickKids and the science society.
