Ellen is pursuing a B.Sc. in engineering at the University of British Columbia. She is an active member of the aerodynamics subteam of the Formula UBC Design Team, where she integrates designs to create a fully functioning formula car. She is also a member of the UBC Choir, singing contemporary classical music. She completed her summer experience at the TRIUMF particle accelerator centre, working on the TITAN experiment to explore the nuclear structure.
