Emma is currently pursuing a degree in environmental engineering at the University of British Columbia (UBC). She volunteers for her student association, planning and executing events. She has volunteered as a shift lead with Sprouts, providing sustainable and affordable food to her community. Emma researched the effects of climate change on youth education with the UBC Climate Hub. Additionally, she has been a part of the BCWWA Student Design Competition, the UBC Women Empowerment Club, the Conference on Sustainability in Engineering, and Farm to Cafeteria Canada’s Youth Strategy. While on the West Coast, Emma has learned how to ski and rock climb and loves exploring the mountains.
