Govind is a Rotarian and a current Vernon Silver Star Rotary Club member. In 2022, he worked as a research and policy intern at People for Education, where he researched how youth engagement can be maximized in intergenerational settings and helped plan an intergenerational retreat. Govind helps organize and run a summer camp focused on empowering youth in his hometown. He is also a volunteer with the Sikhi Awareness Foundation. Govind is pursuing a BSc in Biology at the University of British Columbia Okanagan.
