Hannah studies health sciences at McMaster University, where she is the president of the Global Medical Missions Alliance. She is an executive for the Seniors With Skills club, which organizes volunteer initiatives at senior homes in Hamilton. Hannah also volunteers at a local food bank to support those experiencing food insecurity and for the Adults with Disabilities Assisted Physical Training Program. She is a published author of research that outlines the disparities faced by people with spinal cord injuries when accessing services in rural communities. She completed her community development summer working as a research assistant with the Praxis Spinal Cord Institute, where she evaluated educational workshops for knowledge translation to communities in rural British Columbia.
