Hubaib immigrated from Afghanistan in 2018 and is fluent in seven languages. He has a passion for finance, particularly investing and social impact, and is actively involved with the Executive Mentorship Program, CFAC Portfolio Management, and the University of British Columbia (UBC) Finance Association. Hubaib is also a residence advisor and served as an elected senator on UBC’s senate. Hubaib completed his public policy summer with Imagine Canada, working on core funding and digital innovation files, and his community development summer as a portfolio intern with LEAP/Pecaut Centre for Social Impact.
