Ila is a proud Métis Nation of British Columbia member and is pursuing a BA in Psychology at UBC Okanagan. She is an active musician with music streaming on international platforms and playing at various community events. As a member of Fempowered, an organization at UBCO, She fosters inclusivity and creates safe spaces for anybody who identifies as a woman. She has been honoured with the Queen Elizabeth II’s Platinum Jubilee award for her outstanding contributions to the community. For her most recent Loran summer as a program development and coordination intern at Campus Alberta Neuroscience.
