James is currently studying Science at the University of British Columbia. He is an active member of the Varsity Outdoor Club, where he helps facilitate the execution of outdoor excursions. James also volunteers weekly for the campus community bike shop, teaching other volunteers basic repair skills and repairing bikes for donation. In addition, he currently provides mentorship to newcomers over weekly bike rides to assist with their transition to their new lives in Vancouver.
