While studying English at the University of Ottawa, Kylie volunteers with the Womxn’s Resource Centre and her community radio as a writer, broadcaster, and editor. Off-campus, she works with youth with disabilities and as a swim instructor teaching water survival skills. As an advocate for mental health awareness and accessibility, Kylie spent her Loran Summer in public policy with the Mental Health Commission of Canada’s Access to Quality Care Team.
