Laurence is studying Social Work with a minor in Indigenous Studies at McGill University. She volunteers with her program’s student association and a student community which sponsors refugee students to help them integrate into the McGill and Montréal communities. Laurence also coordinates a peer support group for facilitators of reconciliation circles between Indigenous and non-Indigenous people; additionally, she volunteers as a French teacher for newcomers to Montréal.
