Leilani is pursuing a BSH in Biology with a Specialization in Psychology at Queen’s University. She is an executive member of the Trips Committee at MEDLIFE Queen’s, helping to organize and promote service learning trips to communities in South and Central America and Africa. She was involved in QUCHA, a club that raises money and awareness for SickKids Hospital in Toronto, by organizing conferences for pre-med students. Additionally, Leilani is engaged with the Queen’s International Centre, where she participates in and helps run the English conversation program and has obtained an intercultural awareness certificate. During her summers, she worked in policy at the Nature Trust of New Brunswick, where she advocated for more robust wetlands protection and in marketing at Airble Aviation, conducting market research for future expansion plans.
