Louise is a Francophone from Montreal studying civil engineering at McGill University with a minor in economics and environment. Involved in the STEM community, she teaches programming classes to high schoolers and works with Engineering Without Borders Canada (EWB) on various projects. She is an EWB Canda-Africa-Innovation fellow and the president of the EWB’s McGill chapter. She has a diverse academic background, straddling the arts and sciences. She began her studies in architecture before reorienting. These studies were always guided by a strong interest in ecological transition, more specifically in energy transition and food sovereignty. Throughout her career, she hopes to make a difference in these fields and participate in rapid adaptation efforts for climate change and imminent societal crises.
