Marie-Lou coordinates environmental and social affairs for her faculty’s student association. Through citizen groups, she advocates for causes ranging from social housing, to trans rights, to climate justice. Marie-Lou also started volunteering with a community organization for First Nations people living in the city. In her spare time, Marie-Lou practises her German and hones her skills in a particular passion—circus arts.
