Rafael is currently a Law student at Université de Montréal. He was a French/Spanish law clerk for Lawyers Without Borders Canada and has been a research assistant in constitutional and Indigenous law. Rafael was Vice-Chair of the Law Faculty’s Access to Justice Committee, and at CEGEP, he worked as a research assistant for an immigration research centre. Rafael worked with the World University Service of Canada, where he helped sponsor a refugee student. He also founded a committee on intersectionality and has been a saxophonist for 11 years.
