Taim’s community involvement focuses on supporting refugees locally, nationally, and globally by serving as the Advocacy Director with the McMaster Students in Support of the UNHCR and volunteering with the Refugee Resettlement Services Kingston to raise funds and spread awareness. Additionally, Taim is the President of McMaster Pangaea, managing a team of executives to plan the university’s biggest annual multicultural festival. For one of his Loran summers, he worked at Tickit Health, conducting market research to analyze the competitive landscape, pursue collaborations, enhance strategic development, and contribute to marketing efforts. He also volunteers at a local program to promote education among underprivileged children in the Hamilton region and encourage them to pursue post-secondary studies. Taim is pursuing a Bachelor of Health Sciences (Honours) at McMaster University.
