Tristan is currently pursuing a BSc in mechatronics engineering, where he continues to explore his passion for robotics. He is a lead member of a student design team developing affordable solutions for human-electronic interaction in spaces like virtual reality and serves on one of the largest student-run endowment funds in Canada. He also spent a Loran summer as a policy research intern at the Canada West Foundation–a private, non-profit, non-partisan think tank in Calgary–where he contributed to research on critical minerals, mass timber, and artificial intelligence.
