Vanessa is a first-generation immigrant passionate about social justice, healthcare and systemic issues in Canada. She is the Chair of a committee that organizes school-wide events focused on building school spirit and bridging the gap between the student body and newcomers alike and she is involved in various school clubs. Vanessa works as a Youth Advisor at People For Education.
