Madison founded and leads a school project that brings together like-minded students who value giving back to those in need within their community through fundraising and other volunteer initiatives. She is passionate about advocating for individuals with disabilities and is actively involved with Easter Seals NL and the Unified Sports program. She is a friendly visitor at her local hospital and serves on their youth advisory council, acting as a voice for youth across the province. Madison also started a handmade jewelry business.

While Kaitlyn pursues a PharmD at Memorial University, she volunteers with various initiatives on campus and in the community of St. John’s. She spent one Loran summer completing a public policy internship with the Government of Newfoundland and Labrador.

Sarah is pursuing a B.Sc. in psychology at Memorial University, Grenfell Campus. She is an active member of her university community by being an RA, a student assistant at the library, and the chairperson of the student union. She is also a member of the psychology society, where she plans and hosts a semesterly “students versus professors” trivia game. She is always happy to help prospective students by giving tours of the campus and providing information about her program. Sarah has also done a lot of research on elder abuse and is creating tools to raise awareness and encourage interventions.
